Full Service Repairs

Full Service Repairs

by NYC Mopeds Inc

We love our old mopeds, but they often need special care and attention. Especially if they have been sitting for a long time, a full diagnosis and repair will save time and money in the long run. Bring your moped to our repair shop for anything from a a simple tune up to a full overhaul restoration.

Repair Process

Each repair starts with a diagnosis, which requires a deposit of either $120 (running bikes) or $240 (non-running bikes). This deposit goes towards work:  either 1 hour (running) or 2 hours (non-running) of mechanic’s labor. With this labor we diagnose, fix, and test your bike.

If the repair is simple, this deposit may cover all labor. If we need to do more work to fix your bike, we will contact you by phone/email with a detailed quote for the parts and labor needed.

If we cannot get in contact with you in order for you to approve any additional parts or labor, service will not continue. If there is a communications delay of more than 3 days, a $20/day storage fee will occur until contact is made.

Service Rates

Shop Labor Rate - $120/hour - Our mechanics are the go-to experts on two-stroke mopeds in the east coast. We use our specialized knowledge and tools to get your moped running better than ever before.

Repair Policies

All repairs are on a first-come/first-serve basis. All flat tire repairs are automatically rushed, and priced accordingly. Please don't call us to ask when your bike will be finished. We work on every bike as if it is our own and each bike/repair brings it’s own challenges. We use our expertise and resources to find the right parts to fix your vintage bike.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any bike which we deem is beyond repair, or is rare to the degree where parts are impossible to find. Please note the make and model of your moped when contacting us for a repair appointment.

After your bike’s repairs are finished, we allow 5 business days for pickup. Space is at a premium in NYC and completed bikes sitting in our shop means less space for bikes in need of repair.
